FROG LAKE EDUCATION AUTHORITY is currently accepting applications for (10) Post-Secondary Summer Employment positions at Various Departments within Frog Lake First Nation.  The summer employment will run from May 2 to August 26, 2022.

Responsibilities

  • Reports to Summer Student Coordinator
  • Duties will vary depending on which department you are placed at;
  • Cutting grass – Assisting Elders with lawn maintenance
  • Moving office/school furniture
  • Painting
  • Cleaning 
  • Filing & Answering phones
  • Additional Duties as required by the Director of Education

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

  • Able to use a lawn mower/weed whacker
  • Able to use office equipment such as a photocopier, telephone system
  • Computer literacy with working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Self-Motivated
  • Ability to work independently or on a team

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Completion of a minimum of 1 year at an accredited Post-Secondary Institute and accepted to return to school in the fall of 2022.  
  • Valid SIN#
  • Reliable Transportation with a Valid Class 5 Drivers License will be considered an asset
  • Pass a Criminal Record Check & Child Welfare Record Check (CYIM)

Salary will be $18/hr
