FROG LAKE EDUCATION AUTHORITY is currently accepting applications for (1) Protection Security Officers – (1) Dayshift @ TTES

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure environment for all students, staff and visitors
• Control access within and out of the education facilities
• Report or investigate irregularities
• Respond to emergencies within Frog Lake Education Buildings
• Patrol assigned areas
• Provide Covid-19 screening at schools to staff and visitors
• Reporting to the Protection Security Supervisor

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

• (1) year experience doing security 
• Must have the ability to stand and walk for extended periods
• Experience with observe and report
• Attention to detail and excellent time management skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to write detailed incident reports & daily summary reports
• Maintain a code of ethics and oath of confidentiality 
• Computer literacy 
• Use security cameras and video surveillance
• Ability to work independently or on a team

QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid Alberta Security License is preferred but experience will be considered
• Reliable Transportation with a Valid Class 5 Drivers License
• Pass a Criminal Record Check
• Pass a Child Welfare Record Check (CYIM)
• Standard First Aid is an asset

Salary will be determined on experience and qualifications
