FROG LAKE FIRST NATIONS is currently accepting applications for a FIRE HALL CUSTODIAN
The Fire Hall Custodian shall be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the Frog Lake Fire Halls interior and its contents.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning and disinfecting of surfaces including floors, desktops, shelves, toilets, sinks, doors, windows (inside and out), light fixtures and walls
- Collection and disposing of trash
- Stripping and waxing of floors
- Minor repairs as needed
- Keep an inventory of cleaning supplies and ordering as needed
- Experience and knowledge of using heavy duty equipment such as floor buffers and commercial vacuums
- Make sure the establishment is clean and meets all safety requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of different cleaning supplies and tools
- Awareness of safety procedures
- Multitasking and organizational skills to keep track of various responsibilities
- Ability to carry out tasks in a timely fashion with minimal supervision
- WHMIS, H2S and TDG preferred but not required
- Must have a valid Driver’s License and dependable transportation
- Must be able to work independently, maintain confidentiality, be physically fit and able to perform work related tasks
- In good standing with the Frog Lake First Nations membership
- Must be a Band Member of Frog Lake First Nations
Salary will be determined on experience and qualifications
